Pitch Bazar 2025 — A New Entrepreneurship Culture Takes Flight at SEECS
-SEECS made a dynamic stride toward building an entrepreneurial mindset among students as the NUST Entrepreneurship Club (NEC) successfully organized its first visionary pitching competition, Pitch Bazar 2025, on 20 November 2025 at the NSTP Auditorium.
What began as a concept quickly transformed into a full-scale event under the supervision of Mr. Mujtaba Haider (Faculty Sponsor, NEC), who led the initiative with remarkable energy and commitment, ensuring that every team—from logistics to finance to design—functioned with professionalism and clarity.
He was joined by Mr. Maajid Maqbool, Faculty Advisor, who served as a mentor and critical reviewer throughout, enabling the students to refine their ideas and deliver their best on pitch day.
Turning Ideas into Action
The event featured 21 registered teams from SEECS and other schools across NUST, divided into two pitching categories:
- Idea Stage – early-stage entrepreneurial concepts
- Prototype Stage – functional prototypes and solutions
Each team followed a structured template for pitching and was judged using clearly defined industry-aligned criteria. This approach tested not only creativity but also clarity of thought, market relevance, feasibility, and storytelling.
Industry Participation
Judges were invited from diverse industry portfolios and entrepreneurship ecosystems, adding credibility and depth to the feedback process. Their guidance transformed Pitch Bazar into a real-world learning experience rather than just a competition.
The Chief Guest, Ms. Sehrish Raza (Founder – BizB), shared her entrepreneurial journey and encouraged students to think boldly and build solutions that matter.
Learning by Doing
What made this event unique was its end-to-end student execution. Under the guidance of Mr. Mujtaba Haider and Mr. Maajid Maqbool, students independently managed:
- Event planning & coordination
- Budgeting and financial management
- Judge and guest invitations
- Stage hosting & presentation flow
- Document and template preparation
A total of Rs. 40,800 was managed through registration fees and NSTP support — handled entirely by the student team.
This “learn-by-doing” approach helped participants not only refine their startup ideas but also gain confidence in market research, pitching, teamwork, and presentation strategy.
The Journey Begins…
The success of Pitch Bazar 2025 marks the beginning of a new entrepreneurial chapter at SEECS. Students have already expressed interest in further mentorship and prototype development—signalling the potential for incubation tracks and NSTP collaboration in future editions.
