Dr Muhammad Yousaf, a faculty member at NUST School of Electrical Enginnering & Computer Science (SEECS), has defied cancer to pursue and materialise his PhD dream by virtue of his unflinching determination and perseverance. He successfully defended his PhD thesis in Economics amidst the chemotherapy sessions and later attended his convocation during the ongoing radiation therapy. His research, titled “Empirical Study of Vocational Education, Poverty and Inequality, Adult Skills, and Employment: Evidence from Developing Countries.” showcases his unwavering commitment to scholarly pursuits.
