U.S. Sponsored Access Exchange Program

Dr. Neelma Riaz, Assistant Professor at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences (H&S), SEECS, National University of Sciences and Technology, participated in a three-week Access Exchange Program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Office of English Language Programs, administered by FHI 360, and hosted by the University of Nevada, Reno, United States. The program focused on integrating innovative teaching practices and 21st-century skills into English language (EFL) classrooms, where she also presented a project highlighting student-centered pedagogical approaches.

As part of this international engagement, she attended the TESOL 2026 International Convention & Expo in Salt Lake City, sponsored by the U.S. Embassy, where she presented a poster and engaged with global experts on the latest trends in English language teaching.

Additionally, she is honored to be appointed as a Strand Coordinator for upcoming TESOL International Association events, including the TESOL 2027 International Convention & Expo in Houston, Texas, U.S. (15–18 March 2027) and the TESOL 2026 Virtual Convention (20–21 November 2026). She looks forward to contributing, collaborating, and connecting with English language educators worldwide.
