Networks

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) consist of small sensor nodes with limited energy which are prone to security threats. The WSNs research group has been actively working on developing energy harvesting techniques to improve the energy and spectral efficiency of WSNs. Various intrusion detection methods employing Blockchains and Machine Learnings are being explored by WSNs group to make WSN more secure and reliable. The research scope of the WSNs group ranges from Underwater and Marine Communication to 5G and Device to Device (D2D) Communication, to Software Defined Networks (SDNs) and to Fog Computing on IoTs.
