We are pleased to share that the talented students from NUST School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (SEECS) have won outstandingly at the 20th edition of COMPPEC, a prestigious national-level event in Pakistan that brings together universities, colleges, and schools from all over the country to compete in various categories such as AR / VR and Gaming, Electromechanical Systems, IoT and Digital Systems, Software Applications, 3 Minute Thesis, and Early Age Programming.
- In the highly competitive IoT and Digital Systems category, the team of undergraduate students of the Electrical Engineering Department comprising Muhammad Ibtsaam Qadir, Mariam Manzoor, and Misbah Saleem presented their unique project, Aqua Drone for Water Quality Assessment. Their innovative solution for monitoring and evaluating water quality using an unmanned surface vehicle impressed the judges and secured them the first prize of Rs. 40000.
This project is supervised by Professor Dr. Rafia Mumtaz (HoD Software Engineering).
