Dr Salman Abdul Ghafoor and a student from SEECS, Abdul Manan attended the event “Prime Minister Flood Heroes award” held on Monday 5th December 2022 between 5PM to 7PM.Dr Salman Abdul Ghafoor attended the event as a focal person from NUST and the student Abdul Manan was invited as the hero volunteer.

The chief guests of the event were Mr. Ahsan Iqbal (Minister planning), Mr Rana Tanvir (Minister education), Ambassador of Azerbaijan and Deputy Ambassador of UAE. Furthermore, chairman HEC and Vice Chancellors of around twelve to fifteen universities around Pakistan were also present.

During the event, shields were given to around 25 hero volunteers, including Abdul Manan. The event ended with a group photo of the volunteers along with the Vice Chancellors and chief guests.
