The IEEE MTTS & APS awarded the “Distinguished Service Gold Medal Award” to Chair IEEE Islamabad Section, Prof. Nosherwan Shoaib, for his outstanding decade-long contributions towards IEEE for betterment of the community. He received this award on 18 April 2025 from His Excellency Mohammed Motahar Alashabi, Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Yemen to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and Prof. Goutam Chatopadhay, IEEE MTT-S President, during the closing ceremony of 2nd International Conference on Microwave, Antennas and Circuits (ICMAC) 2025.
