A paper titled “Optimizing NOMA-Assisted Backscatter Systems with Imperfect CSI and SIC: A DRL-Driven Approach” has been awarded the Best Workshop Paper Award for IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC) held from 13-16 April 2026, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The research has been carried under the supervision of Prof. Syed Ali Hassan and the research team consists of final year BEE students.
