Soil Sci. is a renowned biogeochemist specializing in nitrogen and its interaction with carbon and phosphorus cycling in various ecosystems, including forests. With a PhD in Biogeochemistry from Louisiana State University, his research spans several key areas, including microbial functions, greenhouse gas fluxes, and the impact of land-use and climate change.
