BESE 12-A From SEECS organised the “Palestine Relief Fair”
-On 12th December, 2023, a massive show of support was organised for the people of Palestine currently undergoing a genocide by the SEECS 3rd year software engineering students of BESE 12-A under the guidance of Dr. Sobia Jamil. The event was conducted as an end-semester project for their course, Introduction to Management, at NUST sports ground.
The fundraiser served as a showcase of multiple local businesses, bringing in well-known sponsors, as well as giving student-owned businesses a chance to shine. A large number of students, faculty and staff members of NUST participated wholeheartedly in the event. Additionally, a special parade was also conducted with students and faculty marching side by side for Palestine. Pro Rector (Acad) Dr Osman Hasan also graciously took out time and participated in the event.
All in all, the event brought together the entire NUST family for a cause close to all our hearts and served as an excellent reminder of the empathy and unity that is characteristic of our community.
