Date: April 5, 2021 – April 9, 2021 | (Monday – Friday)

Time: 10:00 am – 05:00 pm

Venue: Online via Zoom

Brief Description:

Deep Learning has been the forefront for document analysis and recognition (DAR) and has acquired immense research attention over the past years. DAR has found wide-ranging interesting applications in both commercial and research-driven systems through the core areas like page segmentation, skew detection, text-orientation detection, word segmentation, and optical character recognition (OCR). To provide the participants with different aspects and in-depth analysis of the latest research being carried out in the field of document analysis, a five-day workshop has been arranged by Deep Learning Lab, NCAI, SEECS. The 5-Day workshop will deliver high-quality content and impart hands-on training on state-of-the-art research in the field of document analysis using specialised deep learning architectures like Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) Neural Networks. Become a part of this exciting workshop and learn about the interesting applications of Document Analysis and Recognition using Deep Learning through enlightening lectures and training sessions.

Learning Outcomes

The workshop will give a knowledge boost around following points:

    1. Introduction to Document Analysis using Machine Learning
    2. Basic understanding of using LSTMs in Document Analysis and Recognition
    3. State-of-the-Art Optical Character Recognition algorithms
Key Benefits:

After attending the workshop, you will be able to:

  1. Have a thorough understanding of Long Short Term Memory Networks
  2. Identify the key challenges related to Document Analysis and Recognition
  3. Identify the key application areas of Document Analysis and Recognition

After registration, a confirmation email will be sent to you containing information about joining the workshop online.
