Shahzad Younis received the B.Sc. degree in computer engineering from National University of Science and Technology, Pakistan, in 2002. He completed his Masters in Electrical Engineering from University of Engineerng and Technology Taxila, in 2005 and earned his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from University Technology PETRONAS in 2009. His PhD thesis was funded from PETRONAS Research which is one of the famous compnay in Oil and Gas sector in world.

Currently he is working on funded projects in the area of cognitive radio domain where major work is on spectrum sensing for MIMO system using cooperative communication. Moreover He is also involved in providing consultency services for different local and international organization in the field of Signal Processing.

His research interests include

Details: I worked for a company known as Advanced Engineering Research Organization, where I have been involved in implementation of different signal processing algorithms on the integrated communication platform. My responsibilities during the time include design, development and testing of a multi-interface, multipurpose communication platform system for secure transmission of data on different communication interfaces like Wirless LAN, E1/T1 interfaces, telephony bus, Ethernet etc. I have also worked
