Ammar Hasan received his Masters and PhD degrees in control systems from Imperial College London, UK, in 2008 and 2012, respectively. He received his BE in electrical engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan, in 2004. His research interests include model predictive control, control of power electronics conveters, optimization techniques for control, numerical algorithms as dynamical systems, and finite precision effects. Dr. Ammar has published in some of the top journals in electrical engineering including the IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control and IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics.
