Telenor Youth Summit

The Telenor Youth Summit is an annual conference held by Telenor at its headquarters in Oslo, Norway. 28 young individuals are brought together from the 14 countries that Telenor currently operates in to discuss social change through mobile technology.

Considering the prestige and renown of this opportunity, the selection process of the two representatives from each country is quite competitive. In Pakistan, 800 applicants competed this year for the spot, and after multiple rounds of shortlisting and judging, the idea titled 'eTutionHub' was unanimously voted for by the jury and Syed Maaz Imran, a student of Junior year at NUST-SEECS has been selected as one of the candidates to represent Pakistan in the Summit that takes place in December 2014.

The perks of attending the conference this year is the fact that the Summit attendees, including Maaz apart from representing Pakistan and meeting some of the best minds in the world, will also get to be guests and their country's delegates at the very prestigious Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony in Oslo held at the same time.

NUST-SEECS is proud of such students who not only dream to succeed but dare to strive and achieve what they desire. Best of luck Maaz, we wish you success and hope you make us and the institution proud!
