Mr.Hamza Khurshid and Ms. Noor Alvi, participated in the DUHS-DICE health innovation exhibition

Two students of BESE 7A,  Mr.Hamza Khurshid and Ms. Noor Alvi, participated in the DUHS-DICE health innovation exhibition on 16-17 October 2019 for presenting two projects, (i) Air Quality Monitoring using Internet of Things and (ii) Surface water pollution detection using the Internet of Things, respectively. It was an exhibition with competition for projects focused on innovation and entrepreneurship. DICE is a US-based organization that focuses primarily on encouraging projects for enhancing innovation. This year a total of 130 projects were selected for the exhibition after initial evaluation. During the exhibition 20 projects were selected for pitching their idea on stage. Mr. Hamza project titled, "Air Quality Monitoring using Internet of Things" won the Engineering category of the competition with a cash prize of PKR 40,000. Both projects are supervised by Dr. Rafia Mumtaz.
