2 days EXYLENT workshop for Girls only

NUST School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (NUST-SEECS) conducted a two days workshop for girl at NUST-SEECS facilities that introduce robotics & programming, and also provide the students hands-on experience. The workshop will be organized using Lego Mindstorms Robotics kits as hands-on-experience excite interest in science students. Young students tend to be more interested in applications than theory, but they have many math and science courses confronting them before they can effectively apply what they learn. A course at this level shows science students the applications of the theory and would help maintain a high level of interest. It addresses various concepts related to engineering principles and real life applications, such as remote sensing, artificial intelligence, and the integration of different components. Students were engaged in designing and building a series of robots using LEGO MINDSTORM NXT, starting from simple and leading to complex robotic structures.
