UG & PG Convocation Ceremony - 2018

The 11th Convocation Ceremony of NUST-SEECS was held at Jinnah Auditorium H-12 Campus, Islamabad. Rector NUST, Lt Gen Naweed Zaman (Retd) HI (M) was the Chief Guest.  The convocation was held to award degrees to the graduate and postgraduate students including PhDs.  A total of 405 students attended the ceremony and received the Bachelors, Masters and PhD degrees in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology and Innovative Technologies in Education.  Following students received the medals for best performances in academics:

Besides congratulating the students and their proud parents, Rector NUST, in his convocation address also appreciated the untiring efforts of Principal SEECS, Dr. Syed Muhammad Hassan Zaidi, and faculty & staff of SEECS for putting in their best efforts to arrange this prestigious day of celebrations.  He advised the students to envisage the need of practicality and application of their education in transforming the society blended with a positivity of soft skills and attitude.  Before this, Dr. Zaidi, Principal SEECS, in his welcome address briefly touched on the progress and achievements and the enriching research culture at SEECS.  He encouraged the young graduates to live up to the values inculcated by their alma mater.  The convocation ceremony concluded gracefully, leaving its indelible imprint on the minds of the young graduates and their families.
