IEEE Xplore Challenge for Researchers in Pakistan

HEC digital library is a collection of more than 23000 journals and 124000 online books, and it include the world’s famous online research databases, which include IEEE, ACM, Science Direct, etc.

The IEEE Xplore Challenge for Researchers in Pakistan is a new initiative designed specifically to promote scientific excellence in research across Pakistan. IEEE Xplore is a powerful resource that enables discovery and access to leading scientific and technical content published by the IEEE and IEEE publishing partners. The IEEE Xplore Challenge is an online contest in which you are asked to submit correct answers to a series of questions developed to test how well you can search within IEEE Xplore. It was designed to inspire innovation and encourage users to discover new research and cutting edge ideas via the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, the IEEE Xplore Challenge invited students and faculty to put their research skills to the test.

To increase its usage by Pakistani research students and faculty, the IEEE Online Quiz was recently arranged for the students, faculty and Universities of Pakistan.
About 50 Universities and 14000 students participated in this online IEEE Xplore quiz competitions, and NUST School of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (SEECS) Sector H-12, Islamabad, stood 2nd among these intuitions and Dr. Salman Abdul Ghafoor won the award among 14000 participants Dr Salman Abdul Ghafoor and Mr. Waheed Murad Afridi, IEEE Representative from NUST-SEECS, received award of IPAD from Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, Chairman HEC
