School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS) presents IPv6 Capacity Building Workshop 03 days (25-27 August, 2014) 0900-1700 For Professionals and Students

The current addressing system of the Internet, IPv4 (Internet Protocol version 4) has run out of IP addresses due to the exponential increase over the past few years in the number of devices connecting to the Internet. In view of this impending shortfall and to address other shortcomings of IPv4, Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) has recently seen tremendous activity related to its development, implementation and deployment worldwide.  Recognizing  the  growth  and  opportunistic  importance  of  an  IP  upgrade in Pakistan,  NUST School of Electrical Engineering is arranging a 03 days Hands-on Capacity Building Workshop. This workshop is arranged in collaboration with APNIC (Asia Pacific Network Information Centre) and ISOC (Internet Society) Islamabad Chapter.
